Mark Simmons returned to Barbados from Canada in 1995 and a year later started visual communications company 'markitart: signs & designs'. Since then he has gained a reputation as a dedicated servant operating as 'SIMSPORT, and Mr. Maintain. Always seeking creative solutions, he created the Barbados Food and Rum Festival in 2006 and realized it in 2017. In 2007, he started LGS Construction focusing on commercial interior office build-outs. Deeply committed to his community, Mark founded the Holetown Chamber of Trade Inc. in 2010 to bring businesses together to achieve sustainable growth and prosperity for the residents and businesses of Holetown and surrounding areas.

Toni Jones is an attorney-at-law and fiduciary who has specialized in Corporate and Real Estate law for more than 25 years, serving as Principal Legal Officer, and Corporate Secretary for major players in the private and the public sector. She has served as Company Head for several International Business Companies, and her attention to detail has gained her trusted status in the preparation of prospectuses for the public offering of securities.

Ian Griffith is devout in his service to community and an experienced financial service professional with proven analytical, decision making and problem-solving skills. Over his 27 years in the banking industry and especially in the last decade, Ian has helped many entrepreneurs accomplish their goals through his ability to craft customized business plans and chart a strategic path to revenue and profit targets.

Marvo Leacock is a Management Consultant and Practice Leader with over twenty-five years in creating high performance systems for clients operating in  the oil industry, property management, project management, accounting, business outsourcing, high level information technology, as well as the entertainment and copyright industries. 

Marvo is adept at operational and organizational audits that align business requirements with staffing plans and processes, ultimately enhancing both teamwork and performance. 

Kaie Cozier

Public Relations - UK Liaison

Kaie Cozier is a creative and media professional in television/radio presenting, software training and consultancy.

For the past decade she has worked for some of the world’s leading investment banking, asset management and fund management institutions, training and mentoring their presentation design teams in the creation of marketing materials.

Most recently she has  joined a team of reading mentors visiting local primary schools to inspire the children to discover the joy of reading and writing.

Donna Pirie

Business Development

Donna Pirie has started and managed several award winning businesses which led to her post of Vice Chairman of the Aberdeenshire Business Association. During her time in this post she created and implemented several initiatives which are still active and reaping benefits today. She is amiable, good natured and very cordial; qualities which, she believes, propel her to think outside the box and make all around her relevant. Her mantra: engage and make a difference.
