Chelsea Tuach was 8 years old when she started winning local awards and in 2006, the slim, blonde 10-year old became the youngest surfer ever to be selected for the Barbados National Team. In June 2019, Chelsea won the VW South Africa Open, earning 3000 points and jumping 19 spots to Number 9, out of 300 surfers, on the WSL International Qualification Series Rankings.
Chelsea’s burning ambition is to make her country proud and inspire other young girls to follow their dreams.
